Adding Events to the calendar is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Create a new page for the event by typing the name of the event after the "wiki/" in the address bar. The name of the page should be the same as how you want the event to appear in the calendar.
  2. Provide information about the event: At the very least you should tell people
    • What — What the event is;
    • When — When the event takes place;
    • Where — If the event has a venue, be sure to include details; and
    • Further Information — Try and provide a link to allow people to find out more about the event.
  3. Link the event to the calendar: You can do this by adding the [[Category:Events]] and [[Category:yyyy/mm/dd]] to the page (where yyyy/mm/dd is the date the even takes place). If your event spans multiple days, you can add more than one date.

For an example, see the School for Startups event.
