SICSA has reserved 15 place for Scottish PhD students of Computing Science and Informatics to attend this residential course at the Westerwood Hotel near Glasgow.
Have you ever wondered how ground-breaking research can make it from the laboratory to the outside world?
This 3-day residential course will give a chance to explore the idea of research commercialisation. It is relevant to researchers with an interest in:
- exploring the challenges of setting up their own company
- how their research might attract interest (or funding!) from industrial sources
- career opportunities outside of academia
- collaboration with researchers from other fields or universities.
