Welcome to Entrepedia's monthly newsletter for July 2009!
The summer holidays are upon us and things have slowed down a little here in Edinburgh. We've been keeping busy nonetheless trying to keep the site up and running. Here's what's happening this month:
Events
July is always a quiet month here in Scotland but there are of course the regular Tech Meetups (Edinburgh and Glasgow), as well as the Business Network Scotland summer barbeques (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen), so why not head along and see what’s happening.
New Facebook page
This month saw the launch of our new Facebook page which we’ll be using to keep you updated with site news and events. If you’re registered on Facebook, why not sign up as a fan. The address is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Entrepedia/110726319534.
Innovation
We’ve created a new page with some information on Innovation. It includes a video clip from Harvard Business Publishing which explains just why continuous innovation is so important to the modern business.

And finally, throughout July we’ll be adding more new content to the site and posting details of the entrepreneurial events that are coming up in August. Look out for information on intellectual property considerations for spin-outs and a new section on academic entrepreneurs.
