Welcome to Entrepedia's monthly newsletter for May 2009!

What's new this month?

New Content

We've updated and restructured the information on our Legal Issues pages. Remember there are two legal sections on the site: Legal Issues for Setting Up a Business and Legal Issues in Growing a Venture. In addition to this, Murray Jack of McGrigors has kindly provided some information on Legal Advisors. We've also added new content to the article on Branding, including tips and information on the importance of branding during a recession. There have also been a few new additions to the Organisations, Societies, Clubs section of Entrepedia, so please have a look and if you know of any organisations or societies that should be included and aren't, feel free to add them to the list!

Cloud

We've added a new Hot Topic on the Business Ideas section of the site for Cloud Computing with a new case study on Edinburgh-based startup A.nnotate.

Delivering the Perfect Pitch

Finally, we managed to track down the pitch doctor Bill Joos and have put up a short clip giving you advice on how to Perfect Your Pitching. Bill has also provided more information direct to Entrepedia on pitching and perfecting your positioning, so have a look at his helpful expert advice in those articles.

And More!

Entrepedia met up with Winning Entrepreneurs's Belinda Roberts, who dropped some hints about Vuru, her upcoming venture with Shaf Rasul, which will offer entrepreneurs an interactive online resource. We're excited to learn more, so we've been keeping track of Vuru's progress via Twitter - it is always exciting to find new resources that entrepreneurs can use alongside Entrepedia to achieve greater success!

We have also created an Entrepedia group on YouNoodle, the social networking group specifically designed for entrepreneurs. You may have received an invitation to YouNoodle earlier in the Month, but if you just disregarded it we would encourage you to look again - YouNoodle offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase and assess their startups, and allows other entrepreneurs to monitor the progress of any startup that interests them. Entrepedia has been registered as a startup, so you can keep track of us as well!

There's also another case study in the pipeline, so do keep in touch with the site via our twitter page!

Best wishes,
