- Starter for 6: New enterprise-development project, running in Scotland until 2009 aiming to support up to 300 entrepreneurs over the three-year project, and working with partners towards creating an environment where innovation can flourish.
- Entrants: Individuals and teams with an innovative business idea in science, technology and/or the creative industries

How it works:
- Apply to Starter for 6 with your innovative idea
- Interview selection for the programme
- Training covering: Business vision and values, financials, marketing and pitching. You will be provided with support, PR opportunities, guest speakers and mentoring
- An opportunity to pitch for grants up to £10,000
