Sales Forecast
- Forecasting your sales is not easy. Good market research is essential and will help
- You cannot listen too much to your potential customers
- Aim to produce three sales forecasts - a Minimum, a Realistic, and an Optimistic forecast - based on definite, probable, and possible sales figures
- This will allow you to establish broad parameters within which it will be possible to plan your business
Helpful Tips
- Become obsessed with listening
- Use your mouth and ears in proportion (listen for twice as long as you speak) when you're with a customer
- Bank Managers and other financiers like to see lists of potential customers. Better still, they like firm orders
